"I'm Still Serving" — Even After Discharge
Although my time in uniform has ended, my commitment to service hasn’t. Being discharged from the military didn’t mean I stopped serving—it simply meant I found new ways to continue answering the call. Whether it's mentoring fellow veterans, volunteering in my community, or advocating for those who’ve worn the uniform, I’m still living by the values I upheld in the military.
That’s why I’m proud to be part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). The VFW’s #StillServing campaign honors veterans like me who continue to make a difference long after active duty ends. It’s not just a slogan—it’s a movement that reflects the heart of what it means to be a veteran today: service doesn’t stop at discharge, it evolves.
Through the VFW, I’ve found a community of like-minded individuals who are still stepping up—supporting each other, strengthening our neighborhoods, and showing the world that veterans remain a vital force for good.
