A small stone in a calm pond

One example of the many small stones of Post 9539

Dropping a small stone into a calm pool of water is a perfect metaphor for why small actions matter. At first glance, the stone seems insignificant—tiny, quiet, barely noticeable. But the moment it touches the surface, it sends ripples outward, expanding far beyond the point of impact. That’s exactly how small acts work in life.

One small gesture can inspire someone else. A smile, a compliment, or a helping hand might seem minor, but it can shift someone’s entire day—or even their life.

Imagine this: You drop a stone into a still pond. The ripples reach the edges. You walk away, but the water remembers. That’s how your smallest choices echo—sometimes quietly, sometimes profoundly, but always with impact.

So to the small stone who replaced the pool table cover. I look forward to see what the ripples will cause.
